In 1962 he graduated the physics faculty of Sankt-Peterburg University.
From 1967 to 1970 he studed in post-graduate course of the Sankt-Peterburg Physicotechnical Insitutte in laboratory of the famous scientist in solid-state physics, professor D.N. Nasledov.
