The Institute of Physics of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences has been established in 1945.
Nowadays in 35 Laboratories and 4 Departments of the Institute 675 persons work, from them 396 scientific
researches, including 6 Academicians, 3 Corresponding Members of the NASA, 74 Doctors of Sciences and 178 PhD,
18 Post-graduate students and 13 dissertants.
