The structural properties of Ni-Zn ferrites doped by Cu
 pdf

ABSTRACT

The article is dedicated to the synthesis of Ni1-xZnxFe2O4 ferrite materials with low-concentration substitution of Cu using ceramic technology. The influence of Cu substitution on Ni1-xZnxFe2O4 ferrite microstructure is investigated by diferent experiments. The roentgen-phase analysis of Ni0.4Zn0.6-xCuxFe2O4
(x=0-0.6) synthesized ferrite samples confirms the formation of face-centered single-phase cubic structure. All observable maxima are character for roentgen spectra of spinel ferrites of the structure with phase symmetry Fd3 m̃-Oh7. The lattice parameters of Ni0.4Zn0.6-xCuxFe2O4 ferrites are calculated and it is defined that increase of Cu2+ ion concentration leads to decrease of lattice parameter from 8.3963 Å up to 8.3425Å. The IR spectra of Ni0.4Zn0.6-xCuxFe2O4 (x=0-0.6) ferrite diffuse reflection in spectral range 4000-400 cm-1 are investigated and two absorption bands character for spinel ferrites 604-542cm-1 and
463-416cm-1 are observed.
