Energy levels in quantum film with half-parabolic potential
 pdf

ABSTRACT

The fulfillment of the size quantization criterion in a quantum film with a half-parabolic potential is considered. It is shown that there is a limiting number of the discrete levels of charge carriers in a well above which the size quantization criterion is not satisfied. It is shown that in quantum wells of a half- parabolic profile, the number of size levels cannot exceed two levels.

Keywords: de Broglie wavelength, quantum layer, quantum well with semiparabolic potential, quantized levels by size.
