Ellipsometric explore of Cu2ZnSnSe4 based hetero-structure made by magnetron
 pdf

ABSTRACT

An ellipsometric study of a thin Cu2ZnSnSe4 film with a thickness of about 100 nm, obtained on a glass substrate by magnetron sputtering of a target 10 cm in diameter, made by pressing a nanopowder obtained by crushing a Cu2ZnSnSe4 crystal, has been carried out. It is shown that the band gap of Cu2ZnSnSe4 is 1.6 eV, and the high-energy regions are (4 - 4.6) eV. The experimental results are in good agreement with the ε-spectrum calculated in the framework of the GW quasi-particle approximation, and possible causes of the revealed high-energy properties are established.
