ABSTRACT

The temperature dependences of electrical conductivity and thermoelectric power of AgSbSe2 and (AgSbSe2)0.9(PbTe)0.1 solid solution were investigated in the 80-350K temperature range. The value of electrical conductivity of PbTe added composition decreased compared to AgSbSe2 and the inversion of the sign of thermoelectric power (np) was observed. The effective mass of the studied composition has been calculated. It has been determined that the value of effective mass in (AgSbSe2)0.9(PbTe)0.1 solid solution increased compared to AgSbSe2.
