ABSTRACT

Cu-substituted Ni-Zn ferrites were synthesized using a thermal method. X-ray and IR spectra of the obtained samples were studied and it was confirmed that the samples are spinel ferrites with a single-phase cubic structure. Using the parameters obtained from the analyses, the elasticity coefficients were calculated and the dependence of these coefficients on the concentration of Cu ions was determined.

Keywords: ferrites, thermal method, X-ray phase, IR spectroscopy, sublattice, elastic properties.
